Sunny travelled to his first show as a 14 week old puppy. He made many friends at the ESAA National in California on that trip, and has since travelled to Washington, Oregon, Illinois, Alberta, California (again) and Illinois (again) to show. He finished his Championship in Canada with a group placement, and he completed his American Championship with three majors, one a Specialty WD, in very limited showing. Sunny won the Canadian National Specialty in July of 2004 with Doug Belter showing him, over some of the top winning ES in Canada and the US. He had a wonderful outgoing, sweet temperament and was a real credit to this great breed. He spent his last years being a retired couch potato, enjoying life and stealing bread off the counter whenever he could! While I love all my dogs, this one was entirely special and unique, bigger than life and I feel so blessed that he was in my life!
